Take A Look Inside Virgin Galactic’s New SpaceshipTwo For Tourists
Virgin Galactic now will let you reserve a seat aboard its SpaceshipTwo vehicle with a refundable $1,000 deposit. The company today unveiled its cabin interior for its SpaceshipTwo, designed in collaboration with London design agency Seymourpowell.
The design uses textures, colors and structures within the cabin create an elegance, underlined by purpose which the company says will inspire a sense of confidence in astronauts from the moment they board the spaceship on the day of flight.
Virgin Galactic has incorporated individually sized, reclining seats for G-force management and float volume and also promises that every seat will be a window seat. Personal seat back screens connect astronauts to live flight data. Automated mood lighting sets the stage during each flight phase providing ultimate comfort. The cabin architecture facilitates effortless movement in weightlessness. In addition inside is decked out with 12 windows on board and in addition 16 cameras provide HD footage and stills of the ride.
